AI skills for the future: A new UN training platform
Skills in artificial intelligence (AI) are in high demand. According to World Economic Forum predictions, AI and tech will create 170 million jobs by 2030. At the same time, they will displace an estimated 92 million jobs. AI skills are the knowledge and abilities needed to develop, manage, or implement artificial intelligence software. While these skills are in high demand for tech professionals, they’re not limited to the tech field—and that’s one of the key reasons they matter. There is no question that artificial intelligence will change job profiles or even create completely new ones and have a major impact on the world of work:
According to a global PwC study, artificial intelligence will contribute up to 15.7 trillion dollars to the global economy in 2030.40% of employees will need to be reskilled by 2027 due to the introduction of AI, according to findings from the IBM Institute for Business Value.
The McKinsey Global Institute predicts that AI could create 20 to 50 million new jobs worldwide by 2030.
