Southern Africa Telecommunications Association (SATA) is the SADC ICT Implementing Agency which supports investments in digital connectivity, networks and services by the Members of the Association through various programmes. SATA lobbies for improved policy and regulatory environment that enables citizens and businesses to benefit from digital connectivity and services.
The Members of SATA are at the forefront of SADC innovation in the telecom and technology ecosystems, connecting over 400 million people in SADC with cutting-edge mobile and fixed networks, fibre, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and satellite networks. They also deliver advanced services, ranging from IT solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity solutions, to entertainment and content.
